National Signing Day is today and Johnny Manziel is back home in Texas!!

Former A&M Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Manziel, was at the Bright Complex at Texas A&M aiding the Aggies’ efforts to sign their top recruits. Johnny spoke to ESPN and said he wanted to do anything he could to help A&M’s class.

The reporter from ESPN was quoted as saying “He is looking good, feeling good … I asked him a few questions away from what we’re doing today. He said some interesting things about working to be a different person, working on things outside of football and handling all the things that come along and all the stories that we’ve heard.”

The ESPN reporter went on to say that Johnny is “very in-depth with what’s going on here at Texas A&M … He’s home. People here are excited to see him. They’re happy about him being here. There’s just something special about going back to your university and gaining that acceptance.”

As Texas Loves Johnny Manziel relayed a few weeks ago, Johnny has been very dedicated in his efforts to return to the NFL, while working with famed quarterback coach, George Whitfield, in California. During this time, Johnny has also made an effort to address many of the outside distractions that kept him from being his best.

The ESPN source went on to say “The outside world has been tough and critical … But the thing that I enjoyed was seeing him in his element. Seeing him around the guys, around coach Sumlin. Even the people that work here in the Bright Center were excited to see him.”

Many of Johnny’s dedicated fans are already chattering about his presence in College Station and they are definitely thrilled to hear that he is back in Texas and doing so well.

In closing, the ESPN reporter said that Johnny has “talked about these guys, he’s talked about recruits, he’s excited about what today is for Texas A&M.”
