When #TxLovesJFF?

Here’s to the not-so-sunny slopes of long ago … 🏈
#TxLovesJFF was born the day after Johnny was drafted to the Browns. With a heavy heart and deep foreboding, we watched as Johnny was sent to a situation fraught with negativity, deep-seated dysfunction and … well … all but certain doom. And we’ve been here ever since. 

Regulators — Mount UP …  🏈 
We saw the need for a place for fans to gather, so we created the original Johnny Manziel Fans (closed) Facebook group, and then started building a following of #JManFans who understand the heart of a one-in-a-million competitor. Build it and they will come! And indeed they did!

In Vino Veritas …  🏈 
Then, we saw the need to publicly provide well-researched information and facts on situations that were evolving around Johnny Manziel. So we created the “Texas Loves Johnny Manziel” Public Facebook Page. #TxLovesJFF

Burnin’ Daylight, Pilgrum … 🏈
But all of that wasn’t enough. Because Johnny is such a polarizing figure, the media LOVES to put his name in the news and create synthetic conflict, conflate pseudo-facts, and drum up drama where little exists.

So, we went out on a limb and built this website. We pay for every expense for the sites from our own pockets, because we believe in “saddling up anyway” and having Johnny’s six even when the cards have been down … and they’ve been down a time or two! 😉 

We take the time to TRACE the ORIGINS of JFF rumors. Wanna know where the majority come from? That might be a story for another day, but it is a little known religious website that creates fake news to generate hits to spread their propaganda. 😲  #TrueStory

Skin That Smoke Wagon … 🏈
Are we biased? Sure — at least a little, or we would have had a harder time staying the course. But we always research our facts and do our very best to tell the truth. We believe in that. We stick to what we believe in, and we believe in Johnny Manziel and being as honest and upfront as possible.

So, #TxLovesJFF was born. It started off as the first Johnny Manziel fan group, and grew into one of the original (if not the first? Certainly the most active and authentic) Johnny Manziel Fan pages on Facebook, and sprouted a twitter and a website in the process.

Sure … There are other sites, but#TxLovesJFF is by far the most legitimate and active … A lot of the other sites are capitalizing on his name, by selling cheap knock-offs, spoofing his websites, and it is clear they have prioritie$$$ other than Johnny’s best interest and well-being.

Who Is #TxLovesJFF?

Meet the Texas Trio! 🏈 

#TxLovesJFF is administrated by three Texans who bonded over their love of Johnny and Football and Johnny Football. Although WE HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON, we have become true friends. We enjoy being a positive force for a talented young man whom we would love to see attain his goals, succeed on every level, and find happiness. 

The Educator: A Kerrville area native, teacher, photographer, and JFF fan from way back who lives the ranch life with good family and friends. #TFND #GATA

The Entrepreneur: This tried and true Aggie fan has East Texas roots, a deep love for all things JFF, and has recently become a displaced Texan lately due to career demands. #GigEm

The Innovator: This life-time football fan knew greatness on first JFF glance. Idly watching an A&M game was a true game-changer for this soldier, pilot, marketing guru. #TxLovesJFF 

Yeah … We like to fly under the radar a little bit because this site is about Johnny and that is where we chose to keep the focus. Those fans in #JManFans know who we are — if they are paying attention. 😎 😉

All three of us do our best to do the right thing, put our money where our mouth is and lead with our heart and a healthy dose of ethics. We’ve never made a red cent off Johnny Manziel’s name, and it takes a LOT of time and a bit of money too to keep all these plates spinning, but we do it because we feel like it is the RIGHT thing to do.

Sometimes we get busy and may find ourselves overwhelmed with life. We update the website when we feel like it needs it, or to avoid quoting TMZ or other gossip sites (seriously one of our major motivations!) 😂 We could probably do a better job of staying on top of things, but at the end of the day, we do our best, and hopefully that has made a small difference in the life of someone we respect.

Texas Trio Trivia: Come to find out (thanks to our genealogy ponderings), we’re all probably distantly related! 😂
