Manziel Coming Home to Texas

Mr. Football is coming home with the Armadillo!! Such awesome news!
Earlier today John Manziel announced his return from San Diego, California / Memphis, Tennessee to the Lone Star State via an Instagram post shared on Friday.
Manziel mentioned his plan to return the NFL remains his daily focus; however, he is coming back to College Station to spend time with his family in his home state of Texas. How long? Dunno, but we’ll take what we can get and rest easy, knowing our favorite son is HOME.
“When you come from where I came from this moment and my time in college football was all I ever aspired to be as a kid. It was my dream, it was my life to make it to that stage and by the grace of god and some amazing teammates and coaches it was accomplished. For everyone asking me what the next move is and all the crazy assumptions out there, I’ll be the one to set it straight. I have one single goal right now and that is to get back to the NFL. Until that call comes or the opportunity presents itself I will be working every single day to be prepared. I plan on spending time with my family in Texas and getting back around the University I love with all of my heart. Thank you for all the support over the years it truly means the world. #ThanksandGigEm”

Really kind of a perfect response, (except for ignoring this narcissistic ‘delta-bravo’ entirely). And should we even admit we really don’t have a clue who Sanchez Davis is? So his lame attempt to name-drop worked apparently. 😂
Why would someone go there? Is this Davis Sanchez person so miserable in his own skin that he has to throw shade and rain on someone else’s parade in a pitiful attempt to garner a tad of sunshine in his own life? Get into therapy man. Or at least remember what momma always said …

Maroon and White Game?
Next! No word yet on whether JFF made it to the M/W game at Kyle Field. Many fans were unable to make the scrimmage and Parents Weekend due to the weather-necessitated schedule change, but good call switching it up A&M, because most of Texas is getting hammered today! 😲 Our thoughts go out to those in Robertson County and Central Texas affected by the storms.
So no JFF sitings as of yet, but many fans reported enjoying seeing Jimbo Fisher (pacing the sidelines), and RC Slocum who was the 2nd annual A&M Legends flag-football Game at half-time.
Last year Manziel was the all-time quarterback, but this year the teams (Team Pickard and Team Crow) were led by two of the career passing-yards record holders. Current record holder Jerrod Johnson (2007 – 2010) was the quarterback of Team Pickard in (white jerseys), and Reggie McNeal (2003 – 2005) was the quarterback of Team Crow (maroon jerseys).

So, that’s it for now. John — We’re thrilled you are coming back to the Lone Star State, and although we hope it is for good, we understand that there will most certainly be other amazing opportunities which will take you to the far corners of the word. Just remember Texas Loves JFF!
