Manziel NFL Buzz?
Wait for it … Wait for it!
Okay … so let’s not count our chickens yet, but quite a few of us have been hearing this buzz and seeing JOHN Manziel in the NFL seems like a no brainer … but like JFF himself mentioned … sometimes getting one’s hopes up too early can be a bummer. So we’ll be patient awhile longer, but the news hit the wire earlier that things are taking a positive turn to see Manziel somewhere in the NFL.
Much better news than last week. Last week was ugly with the implosion of the AAF. This week, everyone is going on about XFL … yeah yeah … Kind of a foregone conclusion, right?
However, today … we are seeing a bit more that confirms some of the other things we heard earlier. And granted, we work super hard to well … avoid working in innuendo. But that is all we have for now. hahaha!
Will we get to the point already? Sure.
“The Sports Daily” is reporting that “Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report reported the following in his 10-point stance column … ”
“Still, the sense I get from people in the NFL is that Manziel may well get another chance to play on football’s main stage.”
Nothing else of consequence is said, except that one little thing.
So what is Freeman basing his info on? Insider buzz probably. We’ve heard a little bit of that too.
All we can do for now is keep our fingers crossed for Manziel and the other talented players in the AAF — it would be great to see them get picked up for these and other well-deserved opportunities.
Maroon and White Game
Also! Remember the Maroon and White game has been moved up to Friday at 7:30 pm at Kyle Field due to the potential for bad weather on the originally scheduled Saturday Date!
