Johnny Manziel’s new agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said on Monday “there are teams interested” in Manziel.

All signs point to Dallas as one of the potential teams, despite unverified claims that “Dallas isn’t one of them” … The rumor implying disinterest from the Cowboys sprang up several weeks ago from a local sports writer, prior to Johnny being released from the Browns. Other sources seem to think that the “disinterest talk” was part of a strategy to encourage the Browns to part with their former first-round draft pick.

It is well known that Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, is fond of Johnny Manziel’s amazing play-making abilities, and many believe Manziel will be a great fit in Dallas. The merchandising alone will make Jerry a fortune.

According to David Moore of “SportsDay”, Rosenhaus went on to say: “I’m not talking much about him (Johnny) at this point publicly. I’m really just here talking to teams privately.”

“You know, a lot of his life and career is public, so from the business side, we’re going to keep that more behind the scenes.”

Beyond a general mention of Johnny, Rosenhaus politely refrained from disclosing anything else on Manziel at this time.

“I’m not really going to get into all of this stuff,” Rosenhaus said. “I appreciate you asking.”

Rosenhaus was recently retained by Manziel to represent him as a player’s agent. He is considered one of the NFL’s “super agents” and he represents a diverse array of clients including Rob Gronkowski and LeSean McCoy.
